TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to CEC Construction Group LLC ("CEC," "we," "our," or "us"). By engaging our construction or remodeling services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service, together with any estimate, proposal, or contract signed by both parties, constitute the entire agreement between you and CEC Construction Group LLC regarding our services.

1 Services Provided

CEC Construction provides the following services:

• Residential and commercial construction
• Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
• Drywall, framing, and finish carpentry
• Flooring and tile installation
• Interior painting and waterproofing
• Permit acquisition and project management

2 Estimates and Contracts

All estimates provided by CEC are subject to the following conditions:

• Estimates are valid for 30 days from issue date.
• Signed contract and deposit required to secure scheduling.
• Final pricing may adjust if scope changes or unforeseen conditions arise.
• Contracts must be signed before work commences.

3 Payment Terms

Our standard payment terms:

• Deposit: 25-50% at contract signing.
• Progress: Due at agreed milestones.
• Final: Balance due upon completion.
• Late: 1.5% monthly charge after 10 days.
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (3% fee).

4 Project Timeline

While we make every effort to complete projects on schedule, please note:

• Timelines may be affected by weather, material availability, and unforeseen conditions.
• Client decisions or non-payment may extend timeline.
• CEC will communicate timeline changes promptly.

5 Change Orders

Any changes to scope must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Emergency changes may be authorized verbally but must be followed by written confirmation within 48 hours.

6 Permits and Approvals

CEC will handle permit acquisition. You are responsible for:

• Providing property access at agreed times
• Ensuring property is free of obstructions
• Obtaining HOA approvals if applicable

7 Warranty

CEC Construction provides the following warranty:

• Workmanship: 10 years on all labor
• Materials: Per manufacturer specs

Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, natural disasters, or improper maintenance. Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days.

8 Limitation of Liability

CEC's liability shall not exceed the total contract amount. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9 Termination

Either party may terminate with written notice:

• Client: terminate for convenience with 7 days notice; deposit non-refundable.
• CEC: terminate if client fails to pay or violates terms.

10 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes shall be resolved in New York County, NY courts.
